Theme announced: Creating Generation Agile
Are we preparing our young people to be successful and effective in an uncertain world?
Are we taking a responsible view and creating Generation Agile?
This challenge will be the focus of the two-day Agile Business Conference on 26 & 27 September 2018. Experts will explore what is being done, and what should be done, to best prepare the next generation for their future in the workplace.
Three tracks to explore:
- People: If business agility is the answer to an ever-faster changing world, how do we equip and support our people? Careers are changing, requiring new ways of teaching, training and learning that empathise skills over knowledge. We have to educate for the future not for now, and develop new methods of leadership and teamwork.
- Strategy: When traditional planning is dead, disruptive technology is everywhere, and faster data requires quicker decision making. We ask, “where are we going and how will we get there?”
- Delivery: Strategic success relies on effective delivery. Project, programme and portfolio management are three of the critical skills involved. We’ll be looking at the latest developments in Agile practices from Scrum to DevOps, focussing on what you really need to know for today and tomorrow.
All three are needed to create new and holistic ways of working; equipping the next generation for the business environment of the future.
