Tamsin’s Roundtable: The Art of Asking
Wouldn’t it be great if anyone you asked for a favour agreed instantly? Or if all the stakeholders you work with agree to your suggested compromises without a second thought? We all need to negotiate but we rarely consider how best to prepare for and approach those we’re dealing with. Whilst we can’t make you a master negotiator in 40 minutes, during this workshop we will discuss how personality types can influence outcomes; how to prepare for a negotiation; why zero-sum games are never a long term solution and what answers you should be listening for. We will end with a checklist of questions to ask yourself before starting any negotiation.
