As Director HR for Albert Heijn, I am responsible for the people strategy in the technology function. In my role I have been driving the agile transformation in our company full force. Not only have we looked at the organizational structure and roles, but we also focused heavily on the desired culture and behaviour. Our technology function comprises an ecosystem of internal employees and external partners that makes up 2000 people in total.
Prior to this position, I worked in several HR roles within our company and in 2016, I was co-responsible for activities related to merging the Ahold and Delhaize Support Offices. Before joining HR, I worked as manager in an Albert Heijn store.

The organization went from local agile experiments to Scaled agile at an incredible pace in just one year. We truly pushed the boundaries of what is believed to be possible. When we started this change, it was unimaginable to our environment that we would succeed. We want to show the audience that every organization and person has the hidden ability for change and evolution within them, and that they can achieve the same changes and success that we did.
