David, a former UK civil servant, established Delta Procurement Limited in 2013 to focus on ‘No Nonsense Delivery’ of procurement. Since then David has worked on many complex commercial issues and has always applied ‘agile’. Some of these have include:
• Digital Marketplace
• NHS Digital
• Brexit contingency planning
As a qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, David applies plain language and pragmatism to everything he does. David openly begs, borrows and steals anything he has experienced in other areas to make procurement better. For example, he applies the logic of MVP to governance, creating Minimum Viable Governance (MVG). This speeds up the procurement activities he is leading.
David is the agile procurement advisor to several companies and was advisor to the OECD ICT Commissioning Playbook. He is the co-founder of #ProcurementHour, a monthly Twitter meet up allowing buyers, suppliers, users and others to discuss procurement. David also led Procurement Unconference 2019.
