Presenter: Michelle Tackie and Matt Austin
Session Type: Presentation
Session Length: 40 Minutes
Session Description: What if instead of building a product or software, you are building or changing a business? Can the concept of slicing help you deliver value – rapidly – at an enterprise level? We’ll discuss with you what enterprise-level slices have looked like in our experience, how they have helped add business value right from the start, and how we have worked with our client partners to create them.
Michelle Tackie and Matt Austin are consultants at Clarasys. Clarasys is an independent consultancy firm based in central London with 50 consultants. Our team supports our clients to achieve their goals, making use of our expertise in business change, technology and agile delivery techniques to deliver sustainable business improvements.
Michelle has been fulfilling roles within projects, programmes, and initiatives underpinned by agile delivery methodologies over the last 5 years of her 8 year career. During her time at Clarasys, Michelle has been involved in building on the company’s experiences working in both agile and non-agile environments to develop the Clarasys Agile Methodology (CAM) which is the foundation to the approach its consultants take whilst working with clients.
Matt has been living and breathing Agile over the last few years as an analyst, consultant and Agile champion. He has seen both success and failure at businesses (and everything in between) in moving to an agile way of working. He is also involved in developing CAM and applies the principle of ‘inspect and adapt’ to that and just about everything else in his working life.
