The Agile Business Consortium is proud to announce that we will be supporting the charity Guide Dogs at the 2018 Conference. There are over 4,950 active guide dogs working in the UK supporting people with sight loss to live the life they choose.
Dogs are naturally Agile; sensing, reflecting and responding to activity and emotion in their immediate environment. Guide dogs are trained to help support people with sight loss to move around safely and confidently. Each partnership is based on a relationship of respect, trust and care.
While dogs are at the heart of the charity, Guide Dogs also provides other services to make sure that people with sight loss are never left out of life and where being blind or partially sighted is not what defines you.
Guide Dogs will be at their stand in the main conference hall across both days of the event. Feel free to pay them a visit to learn more about the work they do for people with sight loss, their Inclusivity at Work programme and to donate to this great cause.
£5 from every conference ticket sold will be donated, but if you would like to contribute anything extra to this amazing cause, feel free to do so via our JustGiving page.
At the conference, one lucky winner will also have £100 donated to the Guide Dogs in their name, and they’ll take home a stuffed guide dog and a bag of goodies.
