Lawyers like certainty. Agile methodologies are anathema to lawyers and traditional contractual models emasculate flexibility.
Contracts apportion risk to the party most able to pay and not the party most suited to managing it, creating an adversarial environment contrary to the principle of collaboration.
The lack of reliable, comprehensive precedents for Agile contracts makes this the biggest barrier to the achievement of Agile outcomes between businesses.
In this session we explain the new Agile contract template, how it works and how it balances flexibility, collaboration and strong governance.
This session will:
- Show how clients can maintain control of their projects
- Explain how changes can be managed
- Demonstrate that financial models can deliver more than ‘T&M’ pricing
- Establish how to end the contract when ‘done’ has been achieved
- Consider the specific regulatory concerns applicable to public sector purchasers.
